I'm a decent guitarist (occasionally keys player) songwriter based in Bromley, SE London. Looking to form/join a new originals band for rehearsals, recording and gigs if it goes well. Looking for singers, drummers and bassists and maybe keys players. I'd like to play songs I've written but very happy to play others songs too
I like retro genres but don't want to copy any particular band. Am open to what the music could sound like (probably not so keen on a lot of modern metal, hardcore punk or rap genres though so I'm probably not your guy for that).
Looking for: down to earth, stable bandmates with a relaxed sense of humour and passion for music. Good communication and reliability is really important to me and you can expect the same from me.

Influences
I love music so lots but...
I guess Rock and Pop Rock from 60s and 70s mainly (I love the albums: Revolver, Who's Next, Houses of the Holy, Countdown to Ecstacy, Hissing of The Summer Lawns).
But also a lot of more 80s sounds, synth pop, power pop, new wave, Art Rock etc...Tears for Fears, The Police, Roxy Music, Bowie, Rush etc.
More modern influences are Steven Wilson, Radiohead
Im pretty at home with soul or blues music too. Less capable but equally like of a lot of Jazz as well (love a lot of Miles Davis, Robben Ford, Chick Corea, John Scofield...)
