London-based live, Electronica band Base Mosquito effortlessly glides through a fusion of Trip hop, Rap, Soul, House and Alternative music. “Floating in warm with trip-hop elements featuring spacious synths and female lead vocals that create a slick, soothing, confident and chic mood” (Musync). Influenced by artistes such as Groove Armada, James Blake, Bonobo and Quincy Jones and rappers like Drake Jay Z Kendrick Lamar to name a few.
Base Mosquito’s core message is to bring people together to help shine a positive light on the turbulent world.
A history in short - Base Mosquito has performed all over the world and in the earlier days, whilst signed with an independent label, enjoyed regular successes on the London club scene playing at Area Vauxhall and Scala Kings Cross to name but a few. Base Mosquito was delighted to receive support from elite club DJ’s Groove Armada, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Ferry Corsten and Mike Pickering.
We are looking to set up a Live Electronica big show paid gigs as our style is really epic and big so amazing and interesting musicians that treat their instruments differently is a must.
We are dropping some dope style this time so all exciting on all front as style extravaganza.
Drummers please get in touch if you like mixing acoustic drums with electronics...Pads samples and possible triggers sounds from Ableton Live. Great if you sing backing vocals too
Bass players too if you play also keys ???? analog digital yes...please get in touch too.
Guitar players same if you sing Lead or backing voc...please get in touch. Our style is Alternative too..so plenty to explore solos and effects...The new album has some really exciting twists...
