I've finally found the courage to start actively trying to make a career out of singing. I've always wanted to but the difficulty getting started worried my family too much. So I studied Science and while I love science, I truly want to sing.
I have no experience with mixing or the like, so my uploaded samples are awful, but should give an ok idea of my style of singing.
My range is definitely in the soprano range. I want to take singing/vocal lessons to expand my range but I can't afford it, so am trying to do so myself. I used to hang around a lot of bands and musical people so I've appeared in a music video and helped with some behind the scenes things.
I love heavier music, but I have no experience with screaming or the like, as stated I would love to expand my repetoire.
I sound rather classical, my partner states I sound like "Untrained Amy Lee" which is somehow complimentary, though I'm sure doesn't sound encouraging to others.
