I'm a 24 year old vocalist and lyricist. I've been singing since I was about 5 (you do the maths!) and although I enjoy something from almost every genre, heavy metal is my true musical love.
My main focus is to form (or join) a band centred around melodic death metal, being a huge fan of Children of Bodom's sound. Having said that, I am open to mixing other things into it as I'm very open minded musically (see my influences!). My voice is strong, very versatile and I have a pretty good clean range (mezzo soprano), as well having recently begun to practice harsh vocals to decent effect, which I am extremely keen to use, not least because my lyrics are usually pretty aggressive and as a result singing them just wouldn't have the right effect!
Anyway, enough wittering on my part; if you're committed, have a good sense of humour, are based anywhere remotely near Bristol (I'm more than willing to travel) and have any of my influences listed below I'd love to hear from you!

Influences
Children of Bodom (including their original incarnation as IneartheD!), Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Scar Symmetry, Arch Enemy, Bullet For My Valentine, Ensiferum, Turisas, Dark Age, Tarot, Amon Amarth, Xandria, Metallica, etc., film scores, and the late, great Michael Jackson, the whole reason I began singing at such a young age.
