Purple walrus experience (P.W.E.) is a band who need a creative experienced drummer who lives in barnsley.
DESCRIPTION: bass, drums and singing, NO GUITARIST. it will be a strange mixture of dub, grunge, jazz, punk (the real stuff-no green day sh*te), rock n roll, freeform, dance(?).
MEMBERS: the delinquents' josh (vocals) + john (bass, harmonica/keys occasionally) but P.W.E. WILL SOUND fu*k ALL LIKE THE DELINQUENTS.
OUR INFLUENCES: lee perry, M.S.I., Public Image ltd., clash, cream, beatles. ludwig van beethoven, walter carlos(the guy who did the Clockwork Orange soundtrack) BUT IT DUNT MATTER WHAT YOUR INTO APART FROM A FEW EXCEPTIONS (SEE BELOW)
NO METAL WANK, NO POP PUNK sh*tE BUT APART FROM THAT WHATEVER TICKLES YER FANCY, BUT COMMITMENT NEEDED. WE WILL BE WRITING OWN MATERIAL. WILL HAVE ELEMENTS OF HUMOUR.
