WHAT i AM SEEKING: Vocalists, female celtic or blues style, or male/female asian voices, tabla player, guitarists, double bassist, violinist, woodwind/pipes, sitar or indian instrument player, or other multi instrumentalists with eclectic tastes. Interest in traditional folk revisions, acoustic blues, jazz and eastern / world music, early music.. UK digital recording help would be great if you have studio or home recording skills.
MY MUSIC BACKGROUND: I have been a UK community radio presenter, new music live event promoter, and radio sales and management pioneer who helped create the permanent tier of local community stations in the UK from 1994-2006. I spent 2 years heading up the internet transition for The Band Register (then the world's largest database of bands and orchestras) and created new emergent music sites in Peter Whitehead's 'Best of Unsigned..' ..once described as ''the world's leading independent A&R team
' SONGS - ' SUN MOON & STAR' This is a home recording of self written material composed in 1994 and initial base tracks were recorded on a Fostex 4 track TAPE unit so it is not all digital quality and suffers accordingly. I am joined on this by Julian Zappala who plays some of the electric guitars, keyboards, sax and harmonica. I would very much like to re-record this on pro digital kit or in a studio with additional artists. 'Sun Moon & Star' is shown here in its original form.
NEWS 2026 !
In May 2026 the 32 year cycle concludes with the return of this album in a new digitally re-recorded, professionally remixed and remastered version ' Sun Moon and Star - ReOrbit' 2026.
Recorded using my original tunes, melodies and lyrics this album features more than 20 artists in a global collaboration bringing these songs into the modern era, with three bonus tracks and, two of which are previews of my next work 'Plastic Life' . You'll find samples of this reworking here, the difference ins technology 32 years later will be apparent.
