We’re looking for a drummer to help shape the sound of a newly forming blues-based band in Market Harborough.
The current line-up includes a first rate lead guitarist, reliable bass player, and a male vocalist. We’re aiming to get reasonably tight and confident as a band, with the intention of playing local gigs once everything clicks.
We have good-quality PA and lighting, plus access to an experienced sound engineer, so rehearsals and gigs can be properly supported without unnecessary pressure.
Musically, we’re influenced by Texas blues through to contemporary and fusion blues, and we’re looking for a drummer who enjoys contributing ideas and growing the sound together. This could include developing our own songs; we've got a few ideas.

Influences
Musically, we'd love to draw from traditional and upbeat blues through to contemporary blues — think Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mike Andersen, Fred Sunwalk, alongside the kind of hybrid material that works well with a blues twist. Influences can stretch from Prince, Elvis, and Clapton to anything else that’s simply good music with energy and feel — the kind that makes people want to move and feel good.
We already have a few original compositions and are keen to rework, expand, and develop them, so we’re looking for a drummer who enjoys contributing ideas and helping shape the arrangements.
