The William Palmer Trust live and work on the north shore of the Thames Estuary between Southend and London. The songs are generically called, 'Songs of the Lower Reaches'. (It started as a writing project; homage to the spirit of place). We have been described as wild or fringe folk. Not 'punk' wild but wild as on the edge. I love 'americana' - music from the roots, small venues, small labels - but we play Anglicana. Please see WPT on youtube.
