45-year-old guitarist/singer looking to slowly build a quality duo project around indie and rock covers with custom backing tracks, live guitar/vocal processing and a modern compact live setup.
Still in the early build/planning stage, so not expecting immediate gigging. Looking for someone patient, reliable and like-minded who enjoys the process of putting something good together rather than rushing it.
Musical direction at the moment with me singing would be things like Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Stereophonics, Foo Fighters, indie/pub classics etc.
I’ve uploaded a rough little clip I put together from some backing tracks/covers I’ve made over the years to give an idea of my voice/style/vibe. The backing tracks were custom-produced/programmed by me as part of my work, so this is more just an example of the sort of thing I do rather than a finished project/demo.
Open to male or female vocals. Shared lead vocal duties could work really well, but equally happy for the right person to take most of the lead vocals. If you also play guitar/keys/bass that’s a bonus, but not essential.
I already have PA and recording/setup experience, and spend a lot of time creating backing tracks anyway, so mainly just looking for the right person to build something enjoyable with over time.
Ideally similar age range and mindset. This is more about building something solid and enjoyable first and seeing where it goes.
