Very keen player, but not a pro. Love gigging and have loads of function / pub experience from dance bands through Indie rock / Brit Pop to originals stuff. Mostly electric guitar, but not big on "guitar god" stuff - very much a band player and play to the song, not to the solo.

Influences
As I'm a old(er) git, but still very young at heart, my influences range far and wide, starting with the likes of Joe Walsh, Steve Miller, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton etc., through a whole range of music including many Indie bands, to Derek Trucks and nowadays musicians like Madison Cunningham. I'm loving a bunch of more ambient stuff too.........I also have a very low boredom threshold for "widdly widdly" guitar playing. Not knocking the immense skill involved, but it does not float my boat at all.

EQUIPMENT
about 12 or so guitars, but my main focus on the electric are my Gibson SG s (way more versatile than I ever thought before I got one!). I have a few other Gibsons, a couple of Fenders (Strat and Tele), a couple of acoustics, and a Musicman Stingray bass.
My preferred amps are Vox, but I have a few others
