I am Peter, I am actually from Portugal, but I will move to the UK soon as I can, cause my country is impossible. I had a lot of Goth / Metal / Rock experience here in this tiny village of a country... Was founder of 2 of the underground scene bands.
I been there, but the job search went wrong in 2014. Headed back a bit before the pandemic and brexit and now am having a hard time to manage to get back into the UK with allt he restrictions. As I dont have a "my own" residence / house (i lived in rented rooms) and also was unemployed, I cant go back. But if any one of you knows a part time (or even full time!) job in Data Clerk, Customer Service, Helpdesk, troubleshoot, etc (I would do warehouses too, but I am healing 4 herniated discs, with NO doctors support right now in Portugal, 2020) . So if any one knows, if i get a job to start right away, they let me go.
I stay at a friends in Lockleaze, Bristol. And take my bass or guitar (just one of them, the most needed. Im a bit addicted into bass and drums to be honest! Or baritone singer or screamer (check THE CHAPTER - ANGELS & DEMONS on YouTube , I was guest vocalist for the album and gigs that year )

Influences
Finland bands are the ones most influent to me now :
For My Pain, Entwine, HIM (His Infernal Majesty), Poisonblack, Nightwish,Negative, Charon, and the heavier guys : Before the Dawn (I appreciate the use of clean voices some times).
UK bands : Cradle of Filth, Paradise Lost, Anathema, My Dying Bride.
Germany : Lacrimas Profundere (now favourite), Crematory
"Cold Lands" : Dimmu Borgir, Within Temptation, Katatonia.
THIS is my school of feelings.
I also like stuff from Johnatan Davis from Korn (issues and beyond stuff, not that monkey adidas jumping type), but, I can live without it.
