I was born in Iran, where I learned to play all types of percussion. I enjoy performing a wide variety of genres, not just traditional Iranian music. I have played professionally in recording studios, with bands in concerts at venues of over 2,000 people, and at weddings and birthday events. In addition, I taught percussion for 20 years, both in a college setting and through private tuition.
Since arriving in the UK I have continued performing both at Persian parties and in the British scene. Ideally, I would like to find a locally based British band.
