ABOUT

Parallel Cosmos is a Hellenic progressive metal project composing music heavily influenced by the wider Greek cultural spectrum which includes ancient motifs and traditional music from the Greek islands, the mainland, Epirus and Asia Minor. Using this Hellenic identity as its backbone in melodic and rhythmic structures, the project aims at reintroducing these influences through a modern progressive metal sound.

The project started a few years ago in Greece where material was recorded but due to the relocation of various band members its pre-existing form could not be maintained. Currently the project is based in London and there is enough material for an album with a substantial amount of it transcribed in sheet music. The band's guitarist is looking for inquisitive musicians who would be crazy enough to join.
