Nocturne are a Liverpool based progressive theatrical metal band blending odd time signatures with full stage commitment. (Think musical theatre and Tool having a baby).
At the moment, our writing centres around psychological horror and inner conflict, exploring dissociation, psychosis, OCD, religious imagery and grief. Wanting to extend into concept pieces at some point ~ telling stories is what we’re about.
Coordinated outfits and theatrical presence are part of the world. So is the occasional blessing of blood, sometimes involving a burlesque performer and stage blood at the end of a set.
We have headlined Grand Central in February 2026 and played District Liverpool to over 100 people.
We will be performing in metal 2 the masses Merseyside in April 2026
We are building something immersive, emotional and a little bit chaotic. Only divas allowed.
