Ambitious guitarist seeks drummer.
More than 25 years of playing guitar has brought me to this point: I have honed an individual style which encompasses surf, Spanish, post-punk, indie and jazz. I have an echoey guitar sound and a wealth of riffs and ideas - a lot of these have already been structured into songs with my current drummer - but the situation is looking unsustainable as we live in different cities.
The project is called Nacozeri - named inspired by a Mexican town. My playing has a definite Spanish thread running through it, think Tarantino soundtrack, Robert Rodriguez films. Initially I am looking for a drummer to write songs with, to then bring in a bass player a little later on. Nacozeri would suit a drummer looking to create something exciting and special, that can go on to make an impact.
I’m looking for someone experienced, that can practice weekly in Leith in Edinburgh.
