Band to Join, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums.ABOUT
I’m looking for like-minded musicians to start a new covers band. Based in and around Torquay, Paignton, Newton Abbot. I am currently gigging on my own with backing tracks, but it is very difficult to inject the necessary energy and enthusiasm without a band to perform with.
I have a full PA to gig with, some gigs booked and good connections with various pubs/Landlords, all I need is the musicians.
My idea is, check out Frog Leap Studios and Punk Rock Factory on YouTube. They take well-known pop, chart (even Disney) songs and rock the S*** out of them. Guaranteed to get a pub full of people jumping.
I’m looking for a Bass player, Drummer and Guitarist with the same musical taste as me, also the love of performing. I don’t want us to be a static band (obviously the drummer will be!!) When you go to see a band, you expect movement and energy, don’t you??
Practicing once a week where possible and gigging at least 4 times a month.
Your own decent-quality instruments are a must-have and your own transport is preferred.
Age isn't important, anywhere between 20 – 50! I’m 40 and still throw myself around the stage like I was 21!
