After a two year hiatus,Millstone are back with a new album/line up.Founding member Sam Carter has taken on all musical duties to create a sound that progresses from the first album(project millstone),with a new sound even more eclectic than the first album.Influenced by bands as diverse as teenage fanclub,cheap trick,kreator,candlemass,death,early paradise lost,neil young,rush and godflesh the new album strives to build on the dynamics of the first whilst creating a broader sound with heavier riffs tempered by a lightness of touch.no two songs are the same as the album invites the listener to explore a range of musical experiences from the subtle accoustics of the entity to the crushing brutality of punish.As before Millstone refuses to be conform to one musical genre just for ease of catogorising and instead invites the listener to form their own opinion
