Alt-Indie Band Seeks Drummer!

Hi there - started a project earlier this year with a couple of guys through similar adverts (Jamie, lead vocals, guitar, Marc, vocals, bass) and we're looking for a drummer to complete our "line-up" to take things further. We literally met as strangers from this but we're all at a similar life-stage, music taste and appetite to do something well. It's all very democratic and fun as no personal politics involved and we've worked up around 7 original tunes that we're really enjoying. Sonically it's an alt-indie thing - with a heavy 90s indie / 80s post-punk leaning(I guess Radiohead and Interpol are some notable influences) and we're looking for someone with a similar outlook / humour to refine the songs and get out to play some gigs.

Boring bit: we're all 30-32 - have real jobs, mortgages, grown up responsibilities - but that doesn't mean we're not taking this seriously. Currently rehearsing weekly at STORM Studios in Islington which seems to be working (even for me who is very south of the river!) but can be flexible on the location. We're also feeling increasingly motivated / excited by the tunes and want to refine them and get out to play some shows.

I appreciate drummers seem to be scarce in this city / site but do drop me a line of interest. We've had some interest and try outs but nothing has stuck sadly. We would love to get someone involved who is on our wavelength, comfortable rehearsing weekly and can get involved in the creative bit. More than happy to share some phone recordings of what we're working on and/or get a beer, coffee if suits.
