ABOUT

Grade 8 flute and piano (currently rehoning my classical talents). Piano: I can pick up a song/genre immediately and sing a long, flute I can add to whatever and have experience in jazz and wind bands, I own a steel pan and have played in steel pan bands for years, I have been a singer since a young age and my flute teacher taught me how to bring power, sound and vocals from my stomach...aka pick a style, I can sing it. My dad was in ska, punk and indie bands (little chief, the lorries, skavolution, Jellyfish kiss, kelterabia, etc) and has instilled in me the yearning to be on stage and part of a collective. I have an undergrduate degree in contemporary theatre and peformance and a masters in theatre directing, yet still spend my time writing about the performance of music. I run pubs, but that is not enough... i need a band...
