Influences
I don't really hold with those who restrict themselves to only one or two genres. A good song is a good song is a good song. I'm influenced by all the best people in their respective fields.
EQUIPMENT
I'm looking to form a sit-down, semi-acoustic group ... Besides the fact that I like this 'homemade' kind of groove - it eliminates the need to be lugging heavy equipment about, and it is 'toned down' enough to play in places other than the usual pubs - I prefer the idea of a 'residency' at a hotel, say.
Specifically, I'm after a nifty lead guitarist and piano-keyboardist ... Also needed (but with no need to be accomplished at it) would be bass guitar, drum (brushes), and hand-slap percussion.
