Hi,
I’m not really looking to play in a band full time as such as I’m already pretty committed. However, if anyone out there ever needs a stand-in Trumpet or Keyboard player and are relatively local then please give me a shout. Always willing to help out anyone who may be stuck.
A little bit about myself: Played for 10 years at top-class level with the World's most famous brass band, Black Dyke. I have played all over the world and at a lot of prestigious venues such as Sydney Opera House and Royal Albert Hall. More recently I've been playing trumpet/keyboards in a soul/funk/new wave/disco etc band which I enjoy very much. I've been interested in keys since being a kid and love to get stuck into programming etc. Love me 80's (not the cheesy ones) and all what went on re Synthpop at the time. Can programme / sequence to a high level and also incorporate computer music when needed.
Very opened minded and willing to consider any proposal whether it's Trumpet, Keyboard or both. Also open to playing in shows/pantos etc even if only short term. I also play the Irish Whistle and currently guest with a band on a regular basis with this.
Listen and play all sorts of music and have many influences.
