Right I’m trying this again, the other night I went to see some bands and it got me thinking. I’d love to find some like-minded musicians, I’m happy to front, similarly happy to just provide rhythm guitar. What I want to find is folks who are interested in playing some gigs, only playing covers and only playing bangers that will get the crowds singing along and create atmosphere. Moderate commitment, I’ve got two young kids and a fairly busy job but I’m willing to make the time. Not really interested in any divas or folks looking to push out their own material, I just want to play songs people know and have a laugh whilst doing it. Long time since I’ve played in a group but I’m keen to get stuck in. I’m under no illusions, I’m no virtuoso and not an amazing singer but I can manage. Similarly open to jamming in general and lending guitar to vocalists. Shoot me a message if any of that interests you.

I love a lot of genres (more than happy to chat to people about these) but the music I want to play would be: Blink 182, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Beatles, Oasis, Nirvana, Killers, Bon Jovi, Wheatus, Blur, Queen, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses, Sex Pistols, Motley Crue, The Clash, The Monkees, Arctic Monkeys, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash. Not fussed about doing obscure tracks people won’t know, tell me the songs you think of first when you see the above artists and that’s probably the track I want to do.
