“3 Piece” Semi-Pro (Covers) band seeks a new drummer with professional attitude to music and performing.
Preferably with professional gigging experience but if you have the right skills and right attitude needed for the band then we are willing to train.
We are an established 3 piece line up playing Rock and Pop covers dating from 1960’s – present day (i.e. Kinks/ Rolling stones/ The Police / Kings of Leon / stereophonics / Foo Fighters etc. and more…)
Gigs are already booked in the diary for 2013 and we are looking to expand into better/bigger venues.
When we say gigs… we mean REAL gigs! (Not to be confused with gigs that are just one music set for 30 mins and have to share a stage with other bands. This is the real deal! - 2x one hour sets with a break in between sets and using your own equipment.)
The right candidate must meet the following criteria:
• Age approx.: 18-30
• Must have own equipment in good working order (Drum kit must be in good condition and looked after).
• Must be presentable and be willing to dress accordingly to the needs of the gig i.e: smarter wear for smarter venues etc.
• Must have own transportation.
• Must be reliable and turn up to gigs on time!!
• Must be well organised and not double book gigs or rehearsals.
• Must be based in the South East of England – to give you an idea of area the majority of gigs are around Bexley heath, Bromley, Beckenham, Greenwich, Croydon but we are looking to get more venues.
