ABOUT

I'm a singer/songwriter/lyricist seeking collaborators/bandmates. Currently working on a project with ~8 songs at various stages of completion. My stuff is dark, moody, and spooky with a focus on poetic lyricism, with lyrical themes covering topics like mental illness, heartbreak (I know, yawn), addiction, insomnia, how the world is generally a dumpster fire, etc.

I'm not a strong instrumentalist, so that's where you come in. Ideally, you'd be able to help flesh out my existing songs, cowrite some new ones, and eventually properly record them and get out gigging. Vocals are optional, but if you can sing or even scream/growl to harmonise, that would be extremely welcome here.

I've been in a band before but did not practice/gig much (sporadic open mic nights were the farthest we got). My main goal is getting an album written and recorded as well as performing live - I don't mind if this is slow and steady, but ideally we'd get together once a week or once every 2 weeks minimum.

EQUIPMENT

I have a Dean electro-acoustic guitar, a Squier strat electric guitar, but don't really play much. My "studio" setup includes: a midi controller, small monitors, mixer (learning how to use), audio interface, recording headphones, and mic, running Studio One 5 Artist with a few decent plugins (currently teaching myself to record and mix). No gear at present for performing live but will be purchased in due course
