I used to play the recorder (both soprano and alto) and flute for 11 years, then later on changed playing the flute for ballroom dancing.
Only recently I have got back to practising music, and got myself an Irish Whistle.
I fell for it, and I have been practising daily since.
I love Irish and Scottish traditional folk music and tunes, and love dancing at Ceilídhs. I would love to find some like-minded people who would like to create an ensemble or a band (or a duo). I would be happy to join a fellow person who plays the Tin Whistle, or a fiddle/violin, piano or other instruments that would go well with Tin Whistle being the key instrument.
I would like to practice once or twice a week, for fun first, but I am open to perform at gigs in the future :)
