I've been predominantly a rhythm guitarist in bands ranging from 60s covers band doing stuff like the Monkees and Beatles songs, 70s disco funk band, originals band, Motown / Soul band, general covers band to 80s band. Can do little bits of lead playing, when required but not experienced enough of a lead player to improvise, more of a riff guy!
Looking to join or start a late 70s / 80s band, Glam Rock, Reggae / Mod / Police or other tribute or a general covers to get out gigging again, have a laugh and join like minded fun fuelled musicians. Want to be in a friendly band, happy to learn new stuff, and 'grow' together...pubs, clubs parties are all ok with me...
Life and work would restrict to about 1 or 2 gigs per month once ready to rock. I like to practice weekday evenings rather than weekends (occasional exceptions of course)...so if anyone out there is wanting to start a band with me in any of the genres listed or has a gap in a band...happy to explore options, I'm back in the market after a brief pause.
