Guitarist looking to join/ form a band. Open to any style, though particulary enjoy faster/heavier music. I am happy to experiment.
In my ideal project, we would write original material and meet weekly/biweekly to rehearse, with an aim to gigging perhaps once a month in the long run. Earning money from music is not a huge priority for me, I'm content with the day job. If we pick up a small local or online following, I would consider that a success.

Influences
I enjoy metal, particuarly thrash metal (Megadeth, Slayer, early Death, Testament, Suicidal Tendancies), black metal (Darkthrone, Mayhem, Bethlehem, None), and power metal (Dragonforce, Sabaton, Rhapsody of Fire).
I also enjoy folk music, particuarly 60s folk revival (Bob Dylan, Peter Paul and Mary, Ewan MacColl) and early rock 'n' roll/country (Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry, Hank Williams Jr).

Other: Fender mustang micro (amp sim, doubles as a basic audio interface).
