Drummer – Rock & Blues with Feel

I’ve been playing drums since my early 20s—now 55 and still loving it. While I haven’t played every day, I’ve racked up plenty of experience over the years, gigging over 100 times and covering a wide range of rock and blues classics. I play with plenty of feel, whether backing male or female singers, and I’m always up for a good laugh while keeping things tight.

I’ve played in both cover and original bands, though I much prefer covers. I’m happy to work from setlists, learn new material, and adapt to different lineups. Currently, I’m playing loads of ’70s classics and other fun tunes, but I’m open to new styles as long as they groove.

I have wheels, and several drum kits to suit different sounds and venues. Looking to gig a couple of times a month with like-minded musicians who enjoy playing live and having a good time.

My previous BandMix account was deleted (along with all my music and images), so I’m just getting this profile back up and running. If you’re looking for a solid, experienced drummer who can slot in quickly and get the job done—give me a shout!

EQUIPMENT

Currently playing a 3 piece 1980’s Mapex kit with zildjian A cymbals, but have a 1960’s kit as well if I need to turn it down.
Also have a practice room in my house which makes life easy.
