Hey! I am a teacher in New Malden (Surrey) and live in-between Clapham and Wandsworth (South London). As my job is crazy, any option would ideally be accessible in or around these areas.
I am a drummer. Previously I played in a punk rock 3-piece as a teenager, and in a funk rock 4-piece at Uni - both bands gigged quite widely and I would like to do so again.
This time I am more keen to join a different kind of sound... ideally a multi-instrument band like Beirut, a catchy indie band like The Strokes or backing for a talented acoustic singer/songwriter. I want to be part of an intelligent unit crafting songs. I have been listening to lots of African music and Jazz recently so am open to influences from these genres though I would need to practice drumming these more.
