At the moment the band consists of three individuals (drums, bass and guitar), all of whom are accomplished in the playing of their instruments. Ages range from 18 to 21. We can all sing so backing vocals are not a problem however, we are looking for a person who can front the band.
We are looking for:
A powerful voice with good range that cuts through well in a live situation.
A good ear for vocal melodies.
A creative influence.
An outgoing frontman/woman who can perform on stage
Ideally someone with the ability to play rythm guitar but we'll definately settle for just the voice if the right one happens to come along.
We can initially offer the best local gigs, an albums worth of our own tunes ready to work with and time in a recording studio when the time comes.
Our rehersals are laid back but extremely efficient and you are assured that it won't take long (once our frontman arrives) before we start gigging.
I can't really describe what we sound like but bands such as led zeppelin, deep purple, young heart attack the datsuns have all had an influence on the songs that have been written which gives a definate powerful, raw rock sound (hence the need for the great voice) but with a difference.
We, (with the songs we have written) have always had plenty of potential but we are in need of someone who can deliver those songs to the high standard that they deserve.
