Hi I’m Katya! Looking to start a band to play originals I’ve been writing for 2 years for vocals/piano - heavily anti-capitalist topics alongside more personal songs on life/mental health in a folky Europop mixed with rock style (open to switching genres). Check out my released song Solovey (Call Me Katya) to see what I mean. If you’re not cool with me shouting about Palestine, revolution, and overthrowing the bourgeoisie in my songs don’t bother.
I’m open to making my songs more metal/rock/jazz/punk depending on bandmates’ preferred genres, as long as lyrics and main melody stay unchanged Im flexible. Also happy to be on keys in background for anyone else’s songs if you’ve got any. I want to record/release songs and start playing gigs, I’ve played one solo but feel I need at least a drummer and bass to fill out the sound beyond piano/vocals, also I want to jam with people on stage!! Really just want to find some cool people to make music with.
