Newly North East based band Idle Violets are on the search for a drummer.
We have an EP of original material recorded ready for release and more songs ready to perform, visit https://soundcloud/idle-violets to hear some demos. We have a range of influences (some are on the soundcloud page but feel free to ask) and are looking for someone who is comfortable with varied styles, who can balance heaviness with groove.
Existing band members are aged 20-22 and are based around Teesside and Newcastle.
Reply if:-
- You are ready to commit to a band - Must be available to rehearse regularly and be ready to get on the road in the next few months.
- Confident performer
- Can travel in and around the North East with your gear easily.
- You can contribute to the song writing process - although drum parts are written for EP tracks you would be encouraged to stamp your own style on them.
A willingness to sing backing vocals would be cool too, but not essential
