We are currently a two piece with piano, guitar and harmonies and are looking to extend our sound. We write our own songs and have three on Spotify, but the most recent song is more the direction we want to go in - classical influences, piano driven with chord experimentation. We were recently selected (with 5 other bands) from applications open to the whole of Wales to take part in a songwriters bootcamp, working with producers such as Cian ciaran (super furry animals) and played at the recent focus Wales festival. We are fairly new to musical world, but Katie is classical trained, and James has been a solo performer for many years. We are looking to create music that is exciting and beautiful, and would love to add cello and percussion to the mix of igloo hearts’ sound.
