ABOUT

Although I have previously posted asking for a lead guitar player to join our fledgling band, we have so far been unsuccessful in finding someone who shares our desire to play songs outside of what is generally the "norm" of what people expect to hear.
We are all accomplished musicians but new to playing in a band. Therefore, we're not looking to go straight into the pub & club scene that expects certain songs to appear on the set list in order to be accepted to play to an audience. Yes, we do want to get into gigging and we are all confident that what we play will be played extremely well and enjoyed by whatever audience is in front of us.
We're going to be playing 60's Mod/Northern Soul songs, bit of blues, a bit of Elvis/Beatles/Beach Boys, Indie music from the late 80's up to the modern day, a bit of Punk & Ska, some Alternative songs, and songs that we're going to play that are crowd pleasers but we just happen to like playing them, and likely look at more songs so we have an eclectic & varied, but balanced set of songs that will, most of all, be fun to play and fun for people to listen to.
The 4 of us (3 x Vox, Rhythm Guitar, Drums, Piano/Keys, and Bass) are all prepared to put the hard work in to make sure that we sound good but we really do want a LEAD GUITAR player to join us on our mission to sound different and be a different kind of band.
