I'm a bass player and songwriter looking to start a new band. I used to play semi-professionally so I have had lots of experience but I'm now in my late 30s with a decent day job so I'm not looking to take over the world. I'd like to rehearse weekly and do the odd gig in London and maybe the odd festival. The main thing is to have fun and to make music.
Note I'm not your typical singer-songwriter who wants a backing band, some of my songs could be a good place to start but I'm not precious about them and I'm really looking to write new stuff through jams and to collaborate. Also up for sharing vocal duties so if you also sing and write songs then great. The important thing is we enjoy playing music and we all get something out of it creatively.
I'm based in North London, so would most likely be rehearsing somewhere like Storm in Holloway.
