i live in London & hail from the Pacific Northwest of the US... Longview, Portland, Olympia, Seattle. I grew up playing music when all hell broke loose w/ grunge. Was playing jazz, blues, rock, & Afro-Cuban, then moved on acid jazz w/ some lads in Olympia.

I am fairly versatile, but like to play hard and/or strong as often as possible. I am the drummer for Black Soul Redemption, and the sound is post punk/ acid punk with influences from Rival Sons, Social Distortion, Nine Inch Nails, Fugazi, Morphine, Soul Coughing, Smashing Pumpkins, Helmet, PJ Harvey, Melvins, Faith No More, Placebo, Black Sabbath, Jane's Addiction, Single Mothers, Miracle Workers, Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation.

I focus on flow and dynamics, like to have fun, and do my best to make excellent music with good-hearted people. Keep it real in the vanguard. Check out the vid or the song for a hit. These are just iPhone recordings in the rehearsal studio - apologies for the levels... the new Focusrite Scarlett is gonna help sort this for us ;)

I play kits at a practice studio, but am piecing together a kit as the band prepares to gig.

Kit so far sounds tasty:
Snare: Tama John Tempesta Signature 14x7” (w/ DW CP 9300 900 snare stand)
Ride: Paiste 900 Series 22”
Hi-Hat: Paiste Signature Dark Crisp 14”
Crash 1: Sabian HHX Legacy Brilliant 18”
Crash 2: Zildjan K Dark Crash 20"
Optional Splash: Sabian HHX Evolution 12"
Bass Pedal: DW 9000 Extended
Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 2nd Gen
Rode NT1-A
MXL 770 x 2

Shell pack pending: DW Collectors Maple/Mahogany.

I have a second kit in the US, but too much of a waste to ship it over.
