ABOUT

Hey. I’m Jack, a guitarist/vocalist from
Hertfordshire.

To me, music is not just a 'job' - it has always been my biggest passion. I found this passion at a young age and started playing guitar when I was 10 years old. I went on to study GCSE and A Level music and, throughout this time, I also taught guitar lessons. I have now been playing guitar and singing in various professional bands and tribute acts for well over a decade and have recorded music for a successful Modern Nursery Rhyme Collection (Apple Music) and for Cliff Richard ahead of the last tour he and The Shadows did. I have also played at some of the UK's best rock festivals and toured the UK extensively with my previous originals band. Before that, I also toured the UK playing guitar/backing vocals for a popular Tribute band.

I am looking to join an established professional function/wedding band and/or start one from scratch. I am also always keen to step in for any dep opportunities. I’m a fast learner and have pro equipment (including in ear monitors).

Influences

I have a wide range of influences from artists from the 50s right up to today, covering genres such as blues, rock, funk, metal and pop. I grew up listening (or being forced to listen to!) Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Paul Weller, Pink Floyd etc. My biggest influences came from the wave of Heavy Rock/Nu-Metal from the early 00s which is what really got me into performing. I love playing/singing all styles.
