Happy new year!
Vocalist/guitarist and drummer seek bass player to complete line up for new Edinburgh hard rock/metal act, Somerlad. Age wise we're both 29, so someone within the 25-35 age bracket would be ideal.
We have about 5 tracks finished already and are looking to start gigging/recording in the next couple of months.
In terms of influences, we're an eclectic mix of Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, The Cure, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Metallica, Mastodon, Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam to name but a few - tracks we have so far range from quite heavy to fairly melodic.
If this sounds of interest to any bassists out there, we have some very rough demo's that we can share with you, if you have anything that you can let us hear also, that would be great.
