Hey,
My name is Hamish. I've been busy working on a lot of material - perhaps 3 albums worth with a lot of range from funk to rock, reggae, metal, folk, jazz, electronic etc... But all, I think with a unique sound.
I want to start a band to begin playing my music live, refining the sound and working on new material with my new band-mates.
I play multiple instruments but in a band I'd most likely play bass and/or guitar (possibly sing), but I'm looking for a bassist, guitar player/s, keyboardist, singer/s, drummer (also open to saxophonist/strings players) as my role can adapt to whatever seems best for the band. I'd be looking for relatively talented players, but feel free to get in touch whatever your level.
I do have an image in mind for the band and some names, but I'm open minded and would accept people of all ages as I don't want to rule out any possibilities and directions different people could take us in.
I am not used to working within a band setting as I have always produced my music by myself, so if you're a veteran of working in bands you might have to be patient with me as it's new to me - but I've seen the limits of working on my own and really want to make it work with a band and I'm really excited by the prospect.
