We’re looking for a vocalist to front Spirit Parlour — an occult-tinged, fuzz-heavy grunge/psych project.
Our sound sits somewhere between: Dark surf, blown-out fuzz, eerie atmosphere, and raw, unpolished energy.
What we’re after:
• Unique voice, not technically perfect
• We are leaning towards a female but the right fit is more important to us than gender
• Comfortable with grit, distortion, and effects
• Can write lyrics (themes: occult, decay, paranoia, strange stories)
• Not afraid to experiment or sound ugly when it serves the track
• Reliable and actually wants to build something, not just jam once and vanish
• Influences (loose, not limiting): Psych/grunge/noise rock, lo-fi horror aesthetics, warped vintage textures
We are based in: Herts/Beds
Setup: We’ve got gear, demos in progress, and a clear direction
If you’ve got demos, send them over. Even rough recordings are fine — we care more about character than polish.
This isn’t a covers band. We're going for the sound of something you found on a cursed VHS in a burnt-out shop.
