I'm an active gigging folk musician looking for a horn section to play Mariachi/jazz/funk/colliery band arrangments on traditional folk songs. I have some songs on www.myspace/hamishcurrie which will give an idea of the basic raw material, but I'm aiming for an integrated band sound. Bearing in mind the target gigs (folk clubs and festivals) it needs to be a small unit, but there's so much scope for a "bloke with guitar" (and stomp board) with a funky horn section.

So far it's just me... looking for a horn section trombone/sax/trumpet and a sousaphone/tuba or similar would be great.
EQUIPMENT
I play acoustic guitar and sing. Have a listen on www.myspace.com/hamishcurrie. I'd do basic percussion with clogs. I have a small pa, but wouldn't expect most gigs to need pa on the horns.
