Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar.ABOUT
I'm a drummer in my late-thirties, also play guitar and bass and am experienced with home as well as studio recording. Been around the block band-wise since my mid teens and now entering my grumpy years. I'm based in Notts but don't see why this project can't be open to midlands people in general, as it only needs to be an every so often type thing.
Looking for like-minded introverted but experienced musicians (bass, 2-3 guitarists, maybe electronics, maybe vocals) to put together a project with an emphasis on writing and recording in a rehearsal room setting, basically for the love of playing good, intense music together without the aggro of gigging.
Style-wise, aiming for something heavy post rock/post-metal, maybe with some doom/black metal/blackgaze leanings. Powerfully heavy but atmospheric and beautiful, you know the sort.
