Influences
Queens of the Stone Age, Sebadoh, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Biffy Clyro, Jimmy Eat World, Foos and about a million other bands I can't think of at the moment.....so basically pretty open as long as it has some balls.
Members Of Band
We’re basically the remnants of a band called the Totems – singer/guitarist, bassist – looking to do something a bit different. The Totems was a punk project and we got a bit bored of it and want to do something more interesting/melodic [just to clarify - this isn't an ad to join The Totems-, new project and different sound].
We played some good gigs last year such as the Barfly and Camden Rocks Festival, and have been booked to play Camden Rocks Festival again in May, under a new band name so there are plenty of opportunities for gigs if we want them.
The plan is not to make it a huge time commitment, the talent level is high (the bassist has been pro and has signed recording/touring experience inc supporting U2 at Slane Castle, the drummer has touring exp too) and the intention is to work smart, do home demos and reduce the room rehearsal time required and not gig overly frequently (quality over quantity).
