We are a 3 piece originals rock/ funk/ hip hop band consisting of Vocals, bass and drums. Think royal blood mixed with RATM and a more urban sound. We have a lot of drum and bass and dub influences too and would be keen to find someone that might be interested in creating modulated bass sounds live. However, groove and flow are the main overriding concerns.
Unfortunately our bass player is leaving due to family commitments so we require a replacement. We need someone who can sit in the pocket but can apply the funk grease where applicable :) Our older stuff tends to be more gruff with a twin octave distorted bass sound (see here: https://soundcloud/eyes-like-twenty/sets/2014-demo) but the newer stuff has samples filling out the mids so the bass can play a more traditional role (intial demos can be found here: https://soundcloud/wattdogg)
