My name artist name is Essy and I am a female vocalist. I've been singing from since a child - in church, school and just for fun. I attended the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in 2008 and got a diploma in music. I also regularly sing in church.
However, I've took my passion for music further and have now written music for a low budget movie and a brand song for a youth magazine.
I am also in my last year at The Academy Of Contemporary Music and will be graduating with a degree in music industry practices this august.
I am releasing my first single this February called I wish I Could.
I'm Looking for female musicians (bass, guitar and drum players) to perform with. To perform songs I've already written and to create new songs with.
I want fun, energy filled, musicians who I can start a musical family with, create with, laugh with and perform with.

Influences
I am heavily influenced by the sounds of Jill Scott, Angie Stone, Beyonce, Rihanna, Anthony Hamilton, Lyfe Jennings, Jazmin Sullivan, Joss Stone, Adele and really appreciate this style of music. However, I would say my sound is alternative and changes depending on my mood. I do love all types of music from jazz, blues, rock, country etc
