Hi,
I'm Elsa and I have played in bands since I was 15. I play guitar and bass, but I grew up playing the piano. I have a band where I play guitar and sing but I am looking to start a side project. In lockdown I have self recorded a few songs for a Rhythm n Blues/ Soul project that I would like to build. I would like to concentrate on singing for this. My influences are 1960s music in these genres. My favourite singers/musicians are Sugarpie De Santo, Barbara Lynn, Etta Jones, Howlin' Wolf, The Supremes.... In a more modern style I absolutely love Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings. I would love to find a backing band who loves this music too. Looking for: Guitarist, Bassist, Drummer and would be ideal to find Saxophone/Trumpet/Organ...
