Subject: New covers band seeking drummer
A new covers band is seeking an experienced drummer. Must have plenty of live gig experience and be willing and able to play a wide selection of popular pop/rock covers. The band is made up of guitar and bass supporting a fantastic lead singer.
We already play in the pubs and clubs where we’ll be getting gigs which are typically around the West Midlands, Birmingham, Coventry area.
We plan to gig 1-2 times a month and rehearsals will initially be weekly in the evening. A typical set would include for example
Sweet Home Alabama – Lynard Skynyrd
Don’t stop believing – Journey

Influences
Pretty much anything and everything. I have a wide range of musical styles that I'm interested in and can play.
I start with The Beatles and on any day can move from Dylan and The Doors to REM and Ride to Human League and Husker Du. With lots of dance and reggae and heavy rock thrown into the mix to name just a few.
