Hi,
I'm looking for a Bassist to start a band with. Just a note; this is not a paid role, at least not by me. I am not looking for session musicians, so please don't apply, if you are expecting payments for rehearsals. I have no money!! :)
I'm a female guitarist, looking for a Bassist that will be-able to rehearse at least once a week, is around the same age as me (28 years), any gender. The idea is to create a classic vibe rock band, with some more modern rock elements to it as well. I want to start out just with two of us and look for a drummer together in a few weeks time, to make sure everything fits together. I don't currently have any demos available, but will try to get some together asap.
Looking for someone that enjoys making music and has fun with it. Don't want morbidly serious, joyless types around! :)
So I guess inspiration ranges from Hendrix, Cream, Chilis, Nirvana, RATM, QOTSA, The Clash, etc.
