We are setting up a new band. Currently a vocalist and bassist who have both played in covers bands before. We are East Midlands based (Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire). The new band will look to be an events band focussing on getting audiences up and dancing. Focussing on good dance music ranging from 1970's/1980's Funk, Soul and Disco to modern covers with a similar feel. Covers will include Chic, Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, Nile Rodgers productions, Mark Ronson productions, The Trammps and anything that is sure to create a groove, dance and party atmosphere. All band members will be able to contribute to the repertoire. We will aim to be gigging regularly and to rehearse once a week. The aim of this band is to have fun, work hard performing but enjoy the process and camaraderie.
