Furyborn are a melodic thrash-infused metal band with influences including Divine Heresy, Fear Factory, Threat Signal, All That Remains and Decapitated.
We were the 2011 winners of the Bournemouth Metal 2 The Masses competition, and played Bloodstock Open Air that same year. We've played numerous high profile shows alongside bands such as Napalm Death, Evile, Sylosis, The Defiled, Xerath, Ted Maul, Romeo Must Die and Revoker. We featured on the covermount CD of the May 2012 issue of Metal Hammer magazine, who praised our debut EP 'The Reaping Of Our Days', released in January of that year on indie label Bored Stiff Records.
We need a highly talented, committed drummer who is up for writing, recording, touring and having a laugh. Our debut album is all but written, just waiting for the right someone to seal the deal with some sickening percussion. We have great contacts and are well respected on the live circuit. This is a great opportunity to kick ass onstage, have one hell of a good time and rub shoulders with some of the best bands in the UK today.
Own gear is a must, transport desirable though not necessarily essential. 18+.
